Project Overview
In this project, I added a new feature to WhatsApp, a messaging app, that will enhance the engagement between users in order to upgrade users' experience.
WhatsApp is a world-cross app that allows users to communicate with each other through text and voice messages, voice and video calls, and more.
The new feature is based on feature that already exist in the app. While adjusting this feature to WhatsApp users and UX UI interface.
Problem
WhatsApp accompanies us throughout the day, we send and receive messages, in an easy way. But what happens if we don't speak the language of the chat.
These days WhatsApp allows translation of messages before sending them, though it doesn’t support Hebrew.
However, WhatsApp doesn't let users easily translate the whole chat. They have to spend time switching between apps. This makes it difficult for people who don't understand the chat's language to fully follow the conversation. They may feel left out and miss important information. Thus, making it hard for users to fully engage and understand discussions.
Objective and Goals
1. To ensure that users stay focused on the conversation, while maintaining a consistent flow of communication.
2. To translates messages in real time, without having to use translators external to WhatsApp.
3. To preserve the easy and fast use of WhatsApp.
4. To save time for users.
